All about Tulsi Smarak Bhavan
In 1969, the construction of Tulsi Smarak Bhawan was initiated by Shri Vishwanath Das ji, who served as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh then. This noble endeavour was undertaken to honour the renowned 16th-century poet and philosopher Goswami Tulsidas Ji.
#Trivia: Tulsidas Ji is well-known for writing a book called Ramcharitmanas in the Awadhi language, and he also wrote the Hanuman Chalisa. It is believed that Tulsidas Ji wrote his Ramcharitmanas, a famous Indian epic, at this very place.
This special building is located 300 feet to the east of the National Highway at Rajgang Crossing. The museum houses an array of paintings and sculptures depicting episodes from the Ramayana and the life of Lord Rama, showcasing the artistic talents of various eras.
